2008

The 2008 season was a great success with participation levels continuing to increase.

St. Lorcan's, Palmerstown won the Senior Cup and Division 1 double after two narrow 1-0 victories.

In the Pegasus Cup the 2007 runners up, St. Peter Apostle Neilstown, went one better by defeating Oatlands 3-2.

Pope John Paul II beat old rivals Rush on penalties in the Girls' Division 1 Final.

St. Laurence O' Toole's girls won the Girls' Division 2 Final with a 1-0 victory over Wedgewood.

The Division 2 Final was a repeat of the 2007 final between Divine Word, Rathfarnham and Holy Child, Larkhill. Larkhill emerged victorious to avenge the 2007 defeat.

In Division 3, St. Laurence O' Toole's avenged a hammering in the league stages by beating Castleknock Educate Together on penalties.

The Division 4 Final was won by St. Patrick's, Ringsend after an excellent game against Scoil Mhuire, Ballyboden.

Congratulations to St. Peter Apostle (Clondalkin), St. Aidan's (Tallaght), Huntstown (Clonsilla) and St. Colmcille's Swords (Fingal) on winning their league titles.
